Terms of service

Last updated · May 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of the BaristaPractice app and this website, both operated by VP0 (“VP0”, “we”, “us”). BaristaPractice is a practice tool that helps new baristas memorize café drink recipes. By using BaristaPractice, joining early access, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. They are written plainly on purpose, because terms written for clarity tend to be more honest.

Who we are

BaristaPractice is made and operated by VP0. You can reach us at support@vp0.com.

Your account

You may need an account to use parts of BaristaPractice. Keep your login details safe, and use one account per person unless your plan explicitly allows more. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Your licence to use BaristaPractice

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use BaristaPractice for your own, non-commercial purposes. The app and its content remain ours or our licensors'. You may not copy, resell, rebroadcast, reverse-engineer, or use it in a commercial setting without our written permission.

Pricing and early access

BaristaPractice is free to use during early access, and we do not take any payment today. If we add paid features in the future, we will describe them clearly before you buy anything. Any purchase you make through the Apple App Store would be processed by Apple under its own terms, including automatic renewal that you can cancel in your App Store account settings. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects you.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse BaristaPractice. That means no breaking the law, no infringing the rights of others, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no using it to harm anyone.

BaristaPractice is a practice tool, not official training

BaristaPractice is a study and memory aid for learning café drink recipes. It is not a substitute for your employer's official recipes, training, or food-safety rules. Always follow the recipes and procedures your café gives you. We are not affiliated with Starbucks or any café chain, and any reference to a chain's drinks is only to describe what you might practice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep BaristaPractice available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, BaristaPractice is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under Dutch and EU consumer law are not affected by anything here.

Cancellation and withdrawal

You can stop using BaristaPractice and delete your account at any time. If you are a consumer, you may also have a statutory right of withdrawal, explained in our Refund policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives here, with the date shown above. By continuing to use BaristaPractice after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
